St. Patrick's Cathedral

Part of being in NYC was to visit St.Patrick's Church. It's a Gothic style church meaning, high arches, all in limestone. When we visited, Mass was happening so we got a glimpse of the Cardinal which was pretty cool. The Church was built between 1858-1879. Now even though it was built, the doors weren't open yet due the lack of funds. So, October 22 - November 30 of 1878, it's known as the Fair. Archbishops Hughes dream was to have a Church that was the "Heart of the City".

Until Next Time!
