Hello History Lovers, Happy Christmas to all!! How was your Christmas?
Christmas is celebrated throughout the world in different ways. Religiously, Christmas is/was celebrated as Christ being born. Traditional, Christmas is/was celebrated as Santa coming with presents. In America, it is a federal holiday since 1870. Celebrations with songs, colors of red & green surrounding homes. Even through history, celebrations would happen. The countries that were part of Christianity would have parties and feasts, mass included as well. In the Christmas time, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa are/were celebrated for other Religions such as Jewish and to honor African-American culture. Whatever you celebrate, enjoy this time with friends and family!
